  AUG.17. Just got back from a beautiful holiday staying at hotel Atalon...small friendly hotel! lovely food; clean and rooms serviced daily. Staff are very friendly and polite, accommodating and made to feel very welcome. Perfect relaxing place. Don't expect a sea view but the atmosphere and ambience makes up for this!! Returning next year! . Thanks Atalon

  Newly refurbished 2015 or 2016, nice rooms. Quite a few returning guests it seems. Standard hotel breakfast for the type of hotel with a lot to choose from. Nice pool and beautiful views of the ocean. Nearest sand beach a few hundred meters away. Staff is friendly and experienced. You can get a discount at the bar and restaurant in the same building. The restaurant offers only basic cuisine though, but serves a decent burger at around 10 euro. The owner (?) Pedro is very involved in daily operation and is very friendly with all guests. Most guests are British families it seems, along with older couples. We were one of the very few younger couples who were staying at the hotel. The area is very family-oriented and there are no nightclubs. Some people complained about the entertainment being too loud, but when it ends at around 11.30pm it gets very quiet. It seems like every other hotel in the area is offering live entertainment in the evening. There are quite a few tourist traps in the area, and lots of restaurants that cater mostly to British tourists, with pretty basic food. We found that cafeteria la gramola in cala Millor had decent local food.

  ONLY downside was we thought the hotel room would be on the beachfront but is located in another building behind the main building which resulted in the room view not being the best.

  GREAT HOTEL! Probably the best hotel I've stayed in, the room was super clean, the shower was huge, TV had English channels on, Food provided was lovely(Desserts were delicious) and location was perfect. 2 minute walk to the closest beach although the sand is not the best on it but 10 minute walk to Cala Millor beach which is huge and great sand. Cala Bona Harbour is a 10 minute walk in the other direction which is lovely to sit down on a night for a drink.
