  Very good service family run hotel no air con but all rooms have a big fan to rent at a modest cost been several times and am very satisfied with this hotel in all areas plus it will not cost you the earth to stay here

  The food was good. I'd highly recommend the curries. A nice change during a week of eating out. Highly recommend. One flaw is the abrupt manner of the head of front of house. I understand it's stressful but she needs to slow down and meet the needs of the customers a little more.

  Very disappointed, and I was not the only one, 2 others next to us also ordered fish n chips, and didn't eat the fish same reasons, What you don't expect is the fish to be cooked in some kind of curry sauce batter. See photos, also bottled beer was warm, this was changed but bottle not opened at the table, No condiments on table and when asked, it was like a hassle to provide from another table. Arrived with 2 young kids aged 3+ 1 1/2 I had to go and get own high chair, and lift it over other customers heads whilst eating. General service and food is very disappointing. I don't know who has rated this place in the past certainly not British people, Won't be back, especially at the price..
